Vikki is the founder and CEO of The Light-House Recovery Program, a local non-profit, faith based residential program serving women recovering from drug and alcohol abuse with a success rate of over 80%. She is the founder of two social enterprises; Light-WEAR, an apparel line and Cornerstone Coffee Company, recognized and certified by Center for Community Transformation due to the impact it has on her community. She is also the Co-Host of Angels of the Light, a podcast gaining nearly 500 listeners each month. Her education is in criminology and her experience is in the juvenile institution and substance abuse services. Her passion is helping hurting women discover who they are and Whose they are in order to become the leaders they were created to be. Vikki understands that every woman influences the people around her, especially her children. Her motivation is to empower women to be all they can be in order to strengthen the next generation.

Vikki was born and raised in Fresno, CA where she lives with her husband, Manuel of 26 years and their two children. She was gifted three additional children and four grandchildren. She has been a member of Cornerstone church for 25 years, an inner city and diverse church in downtown Fresno where she credits most of her life training. She serves there as the first female Deacon. Her goal is to make a difference in her world, first to her family and then to the women and children in her community. Ultimately, her world.

She has served on various committees, currently serving on the advisory committee for Center for Community Transformation at Fresno Pacific University.  She is a public speaker, sharing at various venues and groups; public, religious and private.

Edmund was born in Redwood City, California, and grew up in the City of Milpitas in the Bay Area. Edmund’s mother and father are both from the Central Valley, growing up in Visalia and Delano, respectively.  He attended UC Berkeley and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1986.  Edmund earned his law degree at the University Arizona, College of Law, in 1991.  Edmund worked as a prosecutor in Visalia and Madera for over 19 years, trying 80 criminal jury trials to Verdict, including 12 murder trials, two of which were death penalty cases. Edmund currently is in private practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and representing parents and children in juvenile dependency court. Edmund has three children; Lauren, 22, an English Major who is attending the University of Washington in Seattle;  Michael, 20, who is a Drum Majors for the Bulldog Marching Band, and is attending Fresno State on a music scholarship; and Jason, 17, who is the drum line section leader as a  high school senior for Clovis West High School Marching Band. 

Larry Arce

Chairman

Rev. Larry J. Arce has lived all his life in Fresno County. He attended Humphrey’s College of Law. He trained at the U.S. Army War College and is a graduate of Special Forces (Green Beret) School.

In 1979 he was ordained and served for twenty years as the associate pastor for Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. He also served as a volunteer chaplain performing ministry services on a monthly basis for the California Department of Corrections.

In January of 1998 Rev. Arce became the CEO of the Fresno Rescue Mission after having retired from the Fresno County Probation Department where he served for 18 years.

Rev. Arce has served on the California Senate Bipartisan Task Force on Homelessness and Poverty. Also on the Board of Directors of the (AGRM) Association of Gospel Rescue Mission. He also served as the Chaplain for the AGRM Board of Directors and has been the past president of the Pacific District of the AGRM. He was the first chairman of the Fresno Continuum of Care. He continues to serve as a consultant and adviser to Rescue Missions in California.

He has been married to wife Shirley for 41 years and has three grown children. The joy of his life is his grandson Cameron Arce Patterson.

Martha Kistler

Vice-President

Martha Kistler is the Founder of Honor Our Military Veterans (HOMV) and serves as a Lighthouse boardmember as well as on the board of Christian Businesswomen's Connection (CBWC) and has been a speaker for the AARP. She is a Financial Planner and owner of Total Financial Management where she only recommends quality solutions which meet our client's individual goals and objectives. She is very actively involved in politics.

Trish Pinedo

Secretary

Trish dedicated her life to Christ over 15 years ago, and has served in ministry in various capacities. She has worked in the area of children’s, youth, young adult, married couples, women’s, service coordination, street outreach to women, homeless and  Spanish ministry. Trish believes that a husband and wife should serve in ministry together so she has served along with her husband for the past 15 years. Trish currently serves as Bethels church women’s ministry leader and she and her husband currently lead a marriage bible study.  In the professional realm, Trish has worked for over 17 years in local politics serving the Fresno area.

Rebecca A. Nunes

Treasurer

Ms. Nunes graduated from California State University of Fresno in 1984.  She worked for an International Accounting Firm before she opened her own practice in 2001.  She  also serves on other Boards within the Central Valley as well as being a member on the finance committee of her local church. 

Since 2011, Ms. Nunes has served on the Board of DIRECTORS of The Light-House RECOVERY Program, Inc.  Having grown up in Fresno, she is committed to the betterment of the Fresno area.  By dedicating her time, expertise and skill set, to those working to become healthy and productive role models, she believes it makes a better community for us all. 

Sandra Holland

Director

Sandy is married, has four children and 2 grandchildren.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She has her own private practice, as well as, employed by the Federal Aftercare Program for Turning Point. She is dedicated to helping people in their struggles. She believes her purpose is to serve God’s people and to be an instrument in helping them.

Tracy DeJong

Director

Tracy is a Realtor who has been serving her community in their residential real estate needs since 2012.  Prior to that, she was the right hand to a local commercial developer running the office and running the leasing department for 18 years.  She started her career as a legal secretary for a large, local law firm.

Tracy’s niece is an alumnus of The Light-House, giving her a unique perspective on the many benefits and blessings the Light-House provides.  Tracy has seen first-hand what the Lord can do in the lives of these women.

Tracy also served as a Director for the Women’s Council of Realtors for three years, and as a founding member/director.

Tricia Miller

Director

Tricia has worked in the public sector for over 30 years.  Originally from Illinois, she graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Business Administration.  She has worked in Management, Finance and Human Resources in both County and City governments.  She co-founded a foster care agency and served on the Fresno County Civil Service Commission for 12 years.  Tricia has a calling to serve and make a difference in the community, especially those struggling with substance abuse issues. Her granddaughter Mila is the apple of her eye.
